[Fashion] is a form of style or custom, which indicates style of dressing or behavior. There are garments such as a swimsuit being introduced as the latest fashion. The word fashion could indicate things made of cloth, accessories, shoes, hair, makeup, even the cell phone. Furthermore, fashion can be defined as a style, especially the latest style in clothing, music, accessories and lifestyle particularly which prevails among those whose lead is accepted. Moreover, fashion offers models and material for constructing identity. Fashion shows the modern personality, always trying to seek what is new and admired fashion, while avoiding what is old.
The history of fashion is attempting to distill 2500 years of fashion into both textual and web formats. Usually, it is all but impossible to exactly determine when most garments and styles begin their fashionable lives or end them. The differences in garments worn in various countries vary and further complicate several questions. For example, who has worn this garment before? Furthermore, there are different fashions in different era. The first historical fashion was the Pre-Historic, Babylonian & Biblical Dress (The Costumer’s Manifesto, 2005). This is then followed by the ancient Egyptian and other fashions in the following era (The Costumer’s Manifesto, 2005).
In the young generation today, fashion is not only about fashion in clothing, there are technology instruments which could be fashionable as well, such as cell phone covers. There are different types of cell phone covers for sale these days. For example, cell phone covers which contain different cartoon characters or even a banana novelty phone cover. On the other hand, there is also a combination of clothing fashion and electronic device, like the hat radio hat radio. Young people who travels or love to wear hats may be attracted to the hat radio. It is a fashionable accessory coupled with a technical device. Moreover, there are also mirror-coated sunglasses. These are not only fashionable, but it reduces glare and light. The new coating technologies allow the mirror coatings to be applied to almost any lens (Vision Care Products, 2003).
As technology advances each year, there would always be new inventions. Furthermore, fashion changes each season as well. There can also be convergence of new inventions of clothing and technology devices. For example, the biometric bodysuits that have been invented. Fashion fabrics with integral antiperspirant or scent releasing features are also useful for people and they need not to worry about feeling or smelling foul. Moreover, there are designers who are currently trying to invent neckties that works like a computer mouse. Finally, new mobile phones could be invented to be integrated into the lapels of student’s uniform and the pockets that could record lectures or teachings. In future, there would be many fashionable and with the combination of technological styles introduced.
